fuzmeister: Reinventing The Wiffle, Vol. 1
I counted the other day and over the past four or five years there have been roughly four or five Trevor remakes started. Four or five!? Wow. It floors me how ambitious we are and, at the same time, how hard it is to get anything done. When we had Andrew Bado on board at S+F Software, we had a steady supply of pixel art coming in for a variety of projects. I feel like I spread us too thin back in those days (around 2002). Just because we have a boatload of ideas, doesn't mean we can actually manage getting all of them off the ground at once.
Around the time and after that Andrew Bado was spreading his own wings and leaving S+F, I was intent on re-releasing all of our classic titles as DX versions with graphics and presentation that matched the standard set by work we had done with Bado on Inhabitants (the PC version). The last DX project released was Iceman DX in December of 2004. December of 2004!? That's almost two years ago. Often times I find myself criticizing the likes of George Harrison or, perhaps, John Lennon asking why what they did post-Beatles never matched up to their amazing work musically with that pinnacle group. How can I point the finger when it's been almost two years!?
Well, it's 2006 and it's time we shelved this habit of remaking our classics for lack of sufficient art. But before we do that, we're going to do one more title justice in the purest sense of the word. S+F Software is going to bring our Trevor trilogy into the 21st century with everything Inhabitants had times a thousand and one. We had Steve Napierski (of webcomic Dueling Analogs) on board tentatively as the project's lead pixel artist. His work was fantastic and we were all stoked about working with the man. Alas, real life and his other commitments prevented him from being dedicated to this new project. However, he did commit to help us find a new artist by helping us out in several areas. Firstly, he created this lovely montage banner linking you lovely internet users to our wanted page on S+F...

Steve also graciously promoted us on several pixel art and web comic web sites. Here's a list of links:
