Theological discussion.

There are a couple things I'd like to say about my opinions on God and religion.

1) My (current) favorite quote about God is from the Futurama episode Godfellas. "If you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all."

2) My favorite movie about Religion is Dogma, although I have not seen Bill Maher's Religulous yet.

Also, what the fuck is wrong with Kansas? See <a href="http://www.myfoxkc.com/myfox/pages/News/Politics/Detail;jsessionid=8D4CCACF92B2FD51BE29EEB537A65F24?con...

I can't honestly ever talk politics with anyone again. Unless someone is able to keep an open mind and not take mindless bullshit into account.

I would like to make some points.

1) FFS, there is no conspiracy. Don't trust the Internet. Nobody is really hiding the "truth".

1a) Yes there is a conspiracy, but they arent trying to hide the oppositions secret Nazi obsession. They are working on a grander scale, like making you all switch to digital broadcast television so they can sell the white sp...

Happy Halloween to all!

Remember, it's the most wonderful time, of the year!

Or am I getting my holidays mixed up.

All this cross holiday advertising has me mixed up.

Taiwan, Part 3. The revenge of the podcast!

So, as I'm sure you all know, I'm lazy.

So, I made a little podcast because it's easier to ramble than it is to type.

I hope you enjoy! Gives me an excuse to use my Blue Snowball microphone at any rate.

Brandon's Trip to Taiwan

It's been a looong time since I've posted on here. Somewhere around three or four years. If you don't know me, I'm Brandon's little brother, Brent. I've been living in Taiwan for two years and he recently came to visit me. I have a site up with pictures of his trip. A lot of the pictures you can see in Brandon's Picasa albums, but I have some larger versions. Sorry, my captions aren't nearly as funny as Brandon's. There are three albums in total, each with quite a few pictures. If you're so intere...

You can see Part 1 <a href="http://www.sevensoupcans.com/vent2/index.php?journal=1&post=2675">here</a>

We find our adventurers resting in a tiny Taiwanese apartment, watching Galaxy Quest with Chinese subtitles and doing their best to cool off in the incredibly humid weather.

Taiwan is a very energy conscious place. There seems to be no central air, hotels make you put your key into a special slot to get electricity in the room, and also make you give them the key before you leave the premises. Even...

We started the trip just like any other. Our bags were packed, and we were indeed ready to go. <a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/barret7sc/BrandonAndVikkiSTaiwanTrip#5247948187780078082">Star</a> had deposited her hair on my carry on bag, Vikki had a detailed <a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/barret7sc/BrandonAndVikkiSTaiwanTrip#5247948205295642738">checklist</a> of how and when everything needed to be done while we were gone, and I was probably just fumbling around with my DS. After our neighbor ...
