I'm bored.

Obviously. I'm posting.

It's raining here. For some reason I was under the assumption that it might be slightly nicer weather considering its ALMOST JUNE. But apparently I've been misinformed. I need an indoor hobby so I'm not so bored when the weather is rotten.

Oh. I turned 30 a couple weeks ago. That was delightful. ...

On Netflix and Streaming

So, yeah, I decided to try a 2 week trial of Netflix so I could check out the streaming via Windows Media Center (WMC). I have my old PC set up running Windows 7 Home Premium, and it runs Windows Media Center beautifully. Granted, I don't have any tuners (yet anyway), so its really just a nice remote control based interface for watching DVDs ripped from my collection.

Anyway, recently a plugin for WMC was released so you coul...

I should probably post here more often :P

So, I'm watching a special on HBO this morning, called "Diagnosis Bipolar" about kids who get diagnosed with Bipolar disorder, which is difficult, since apparently they don't really have diagnostic criteria.

I'm having a hard time with this show, since it looks more like these kids have psychosis issues, and not bipolar. And maybe that giving a 7 year old 10 different kinds of meds per day might have something to do with this.

Maybe I'm just an ass. ...

Who am I to talk, I rarely post anymore.

Anyway, Nathan, I disabled your account. Considering you make up probably half of the total volume of posts here I'm not going to delete it. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it actually....

It's that time of year again, when balls drop and people get hangovers. It is a time of year to reflect on our past transgressions and to make promises to ourselves that we absolutely do not intend to keep.

With that in mind, I hope everybody has a safe new year's celebration!

Go 2009!...

Its that time of year again!

The time of year when tales of breaking and entering by a fat man in questionable attire abound! Or something about candles, or maybe a aluminium pole. Regardless, let us celebrate with an egg based beverage filled with alcohol and by cutting down trees!

Anyway, I did want to share I and Vikki's christmas letter for this year. Sorry if I didn't get a physical copy out to everyone, I really don't know any of your addresses.

You can check it out in super high quality P...

Theological discussion.

There are a couple things I'd like to say about my opinions on God and religion.

1) My (current) favorite quote about God is from the Futurama episode Godfellas. "If you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all."

2) My favorite movie about Religion is Dogma, although I have not seen Bill Maher's Religulous yet.

Also, what the fuck is wrong with Kansas? See <a href="http://www.myfoxkc.com/myfox/pages/News/Politics/Detail;jsessionid=8D4CCACF92B2FD51BE29EEB537A65F24?con...

I can't honestly ever talk politics with anyone again. Unless someone is able to keep an open mind and not take mindless bullshit into account.

I would like to make some points.

1) FFS, there is no conspiracy. Don't trust the Internet. Nobody is really hiding the "truth".

1a) Yes there is a conspiracy, but they arent trying to hide the oppositions secret Nazi obsession. They are working on a grander scale, like making you all switch to digital broadcast television so they can sell the white sp...
