Brandon: Development Reflection
Well the contest came and has gone. Voting does not take place until next week. There are some rather impressive entries into the contest. I'm impressed with what people can come up with in such a short time.

It also was a very educational experience. I found that G5 is still using a lot of legacy code from it's humble origins. Some things are just very ineficient. I'm going to re-write large chunks of the loops that run every frame to increase it's speed (Not that's slow, it just could be faster) and work on making the engine more flexible. I want to move more of the object, NPC, and interactive things into the map editor, to make it easier than just giving map coordinates from a script. I also want to make the map editor a lot easier to use as well as keep it from crashing so often ;)

Sheesh, thats a lot to do. But I do want to finish Trevor: Gaiden, just for my own sake. I havent done much for S+F recently. The TimmyR engine is coming along. I still need to figure out some 3d maths that I just need to sit down and calculate on paper.

Anyways...
