Brandon: CSSisims
So yeah, I'm finding that using a CSS only based site design I can get completley away from these tables I'm using now. And it allows for some very neat tricks with layout and stuff. For instance, a theme won't just be able to change graphics and colors, but the ENTIRE layout.

It will take some work to get the system to integrate with Vent, but hey, it'll be fun, right?

Brandon: 1.10
Sheesh, I havent played this much Diablo II since it came out. The new 1.10 patch makes it like a brand new game, and it is fun as it ever was.

All Hail Blizzard and let's hope that Bill Roper and his boys in their new games studio make some neet stuff

Brandon: hmm...iTunes
So yeah, I guess you know that Apple released a version of iTunes for windows. Legally downloaded music at the touch of a mouse.

I was tempted.

I was far too tempted.

iTunes rocks. Period. The only thing I would like better is to be able to get a low quality preview of part of tracks before I download them, other than that. It's great. And, they make it somewhat simple to get your purchased music out of the DRM AAC format. Let me outline the steps for you.

1) Purchase music (In this case Ben Folds new EP, Sunny 16)
2) Burn music to audio CD (wasting a $0.02 CD-R in the process) As soon as it's done, iTunes shows the finished CD in it's playlist window.
3) Click the new CD, and select all tracks, Right click tracks and hit Convert Selection to MP3

There you go, high quality MP3's without any DRM. With the correct filenames and encoded using a high quality Fraunhofer MP3 encoder. As much as I like CDex and the LAME MP3 encoder, this is quite nice.

Sure it would be better without the DRM and having to jump thorugh the hoops, but hey, it's legal and everything.

Anyways, more later.

Brandon: Corrections.
Now, Welcome to Ventilation 1.8.0!

A much more secure version of the software, now with Register_Globals Off it can be probably considered safe for production purposes.

I know there is probably a bug or two that cropped up in the process. Let me know, yo.
