Ok, so I *think* I've got all of the changes working so that the Register_Globals directive can be set to off. This should increase security quite a bit.

Still, I've only done basic testing, all of the options *seem* to be working fine. Please let me know of any and all bugs you find so I can correct them and get an updated source release ready.

Anyways.

Brandon: Unfinished.
Well, been an interesting week, if I say so myself. Had a couple of nice days off. Rains went back to Kansas for a week to attend her aunt's funeral, so I've got the pad to myself.

Its a little dull at times, but I have enough to do to keep me busy. I've been trying to get out of my coding slump. I need to finish Inhabitants DC (It's so near finished. I just need to think of a 4 player mulitplayer variant, add proper menus, add a high score table, save it all to the VMU), and GotA is progressing slowly but surely, I converted the G5 map editor to use a completley XML based map file format. It's rather sweet because changes are made directly to the document, its one line to save the whole map. Also, I added a new way of handling tiles, so you can have multiple "regions" on a tileset used for layer elements. And you can select blocks of tiles, ala RPG Maker 2K, makes map making a bit easier. After I get the kinks worked out of it, and add lighting code, so you can do shafts of light and stuff, it will be time to update G5 to handle the new changes, and a bunch of under the hood rendering stuff I've been meaning to do, such as rendering the 16x16 tiles I'm using onto a secondary surface using point filtering (also known as no filtering ;)) and then scaling that image up to 640x480 using bilinear filtering, then rendering effects, lighting, dialog boxes, etc on top of that. But anyways...

Brandon: So...anyways.
Jeez, Valve gets comprimised and the Half Life 2 source code get's lifted. Scary stuff. I guess it's not all the source though. Whatever, it probably dosen't compile anyway.

So I've been pretty lazy all summer, but I'm getting back into the groove. Working on classes, working on re-structuring G5 for the project I've been trying to work on. XML is'nt as bad as I thought and apparently you can binary encode it to speed up load times.

Oh, and Fuzmeister, lay off the crack ;)
