Why Atheism?

There are four powerful reasons to discard the God Hypothesis:

1. A lack of convincing evidence in support of the hypothesis.
2. The hypothesis lacks explanatory power.
3. The hypothesis conflicts with well accepted knowledge.
4. The hypothesis is internally incoherent.



Any of the four would be sufficient reason to reject the hypothesis.

My job is trying to kill me. On Tuesday I worked my regular shift (8-5), then came back at 8 pm and worked until 6:30 in the morning. I'm working late every night and working Saturdays and this Tuesday I'll do the overnight thing again. I think I may be too old for this shit.

I got the new Stephen King book, but have not had time to start reading it yet. Hopefully I'll get to read it on Sunday.

Way back in the late 80s or early 90s MTV ran a great cartoon called The Maxx. I loved it at the time, but haven't seen it since. That is, until this week. I watched it straight through and found that it was just as good as I had remembered. Maxx, if you haven't seen the show, is either a mentally ill homeless man or a sort of super hero from another universe. He protects a social worker named Julie and battles a serial killer named Mr. Gone. It's surreal, dark, and sad. It manages to be clever along the way. It has never been released on DVD, which is a fucking shame.

Speaking of Google ads, why the heck doesn't Vent have them? MotD is averaging about $4 a day from the adsense thing. Does anyone else here have any experience with Google's ads? If so, was it effective for you? Tell me about it.
