Nathan Tyree: A disgrace
John McCain seems to have recently discovered how social security works, and he doesn't like it. McCain calls the social security system (one of the most successful government programs in history) "a disgrace".

Nathan Tyree: Atomic Neologism
Google returns zero results for the phrase “Atomic Neologism”. I find that sad beyond belief. Alberto Seltzer has seven pages, and yet atomic neologism has none. I will do my best to fix this terrible oversight.

Nathan Tyree: Best reason to vote for Obama

Nathan Tyree: That Jingo
Some have speculated that John McCain’s militaristic philosophy would require a new draft. That idea was fuelled by McCain’s admission that he would “consider” re-instating the draft if he felt that it were “fair”.

Now we have McCain saying that “World War III” would justify a return to the draft. This after calling our current conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan (and, if McCain is elected, Iran and who knows where else) the early stages of world war III.

It seems Clear exactly what jingo Mr McCain marches to. His calls to Bomb Iran (set to music); his desire to continue the current quagmire for a long, long time (“why not 100 years” he says); his total ignorance of world affairs (the man doesn’t know who is in charge of Iran, the difference between Shi’a and Sunni, or how many troops we have in Iraq); and, of course his old timey worldview, all point to a man who is dangerous to peace, freedom and the future of this nation.
