Nathan Tyree: Trout
With all the talk of Kurt Vonnegut's death, we have overlooked the passing of another important American writer.

Kilgore Trout has died.

"You were sick, but now you are well again. And there's work to be done."

Nathan Tyree: Father Kurt
Kurt Vonnegut has died. Vonnegut was a talented novelist, essayist, crafter of short stories and a kind humanist. I've known of his death for less than an hour, and already I feel a little lonlier in the universe.

And so it goes

Nathan Tyree: Call for subs
Magazine of the Dead is planning an anthology of zombie stories. We need your zombie stories. The guidelines are simple: stories should be no longer than 10,000 words. They should contain at least 1 zombie. They should be well written.

This will be a paperback book. The plan is to split proceeds with the contributors (after we have recouped our expenses).

Send submissions to: magazineofthedead@yahoo.com
Put the word “Zombie” in the subject line.

Nathan Tyree: 3AM
The talented Andrew Stevens (of 3:AM Magazine) is editing a new anthology for Social Disease Press. It’s called: 3:AM London, New York, Paris.

It contains stories by Chris Cleave, Niven Govinden, Laura Hird, Toby Litt, Nicholas Royle and Matt Thorne, Noah Cicero, Utahna Faith, Peter Wild, Andrew Gallix, Ben Myers and Lee Rourke as well as Nathan Tyree and others.

I have a story included. My story is titled “Morning in Alphabet City”. Look for it very soon.

Also, be on the look out for The Flash!
