Has anyone else ever noticed that Hugh Grant has made a career out of a poor Dudley Moore impersonation?

I can't help thinking that someone could write a hell of a scholarly paper on Fozzie Bear. I mean, the fuzzy guy is an everyman. He longs for love and acceptance (and uses his nervous attempts at comedy to get them) but always fails. There's something sad and dark in that bear. Sad and dark.
