I have now seen (I believe) every version of Bladerunner that is extant. The new Final Cut is perfect. Scott says that this is THE definitive version of the film and I see why. The Director’ Cut is still quite worthwhile as well. I recommend seeing the workprint version at least once, as it contains some elements that are not in any of the other versions. The opening of the workprint is entirely different

This is all I want for christmas: Blade Runner.

I am quite excited about this. Blade Runner is one of my favorite films. It’s about time Ridley Scott did a definitive director’s cut. Plus, I have wanted to see the work print version for years.
