I had a sincere concern about the effect Facebook was having on my social relationships and psyche after being an avid user for seven years. I deleted my account today.

I'm sincerely expecting a "withdrawal" type period. No joke.

It's like... anything that becomes habitual can be as addictive as any kind of chemical dependency. That is my belief from my own life experiences, at least.

So the first non-RC/beta Firefox 4 release came out yesterday. I have to be honest, I'm not a huge fan of the interface. It reminds me of Chrome's UI for some reason.

Speaking of Chrome, this benchmark I found shows that Chrome is still the fastest browser around.

That still doesn't mean I want to use Chrome. That's actually probably related to the reason why I don't enjoy the new Firefox 4 UI. I'm old-fashioned.
