Tonight it occurred to me that Swan Song sounds a little bit like something Joy Division might have done. My favorite part about Swan song is there's this like infinite delay that just keeps sort of going on on the one channel - it's very atmospheric and, to be honest, I'm not even sure how we did that.

fuzmeister: Experiment

I get strangely inspired by things such as Nine Inch Nails Ghosts I-IV. It's weird really, but sometimes I get a spur of bizarre creativity where I just want to be totally surreal. Tonight I had an idea to create some experimental music which is nothing new (see examples 1 and 2). I shot some video a few weeks back while driving in the snow and I thought it would be something awesome with some strange sort-of music backing it.

Anywho, back in 2004 I had a brief period where I would write these experimental pieces (poems some would consider them, I guess) just as quickly as I could to be sort-of a stream-of-consciousness type thing. Some sucked, but some were quite interesting.

My idea is to possibly combine those writings with some brand new experimental music and some video clips... sort of a multimedia experiment, if you will. I'd probably release just the music for free as a download or something.

I find it amusing how much time is wasted by law enforcement per year on busting people for marijuana. The stipulation that legalizing it would suddenly make everyone a stoner is also laughable; tobacco is legal and not everyone becomes a user of that. Regardless, I found this story that my coworker sent me amusing.
