Everyone on Vent except myself seems to have some tie to these barbaric folk.

I spoke to an old high school chum recently and we were looking at the stupid crap we signed in each other's yearbooks. At that time I fancied writing stories in the first person that always ended with the sentence, "I died." That year I wrote a mini "I Died Story", as they were known, in the back of his yearbook. Excerpt follows:

...loud booming noise coming from directly overhead.

"Germans," I whispered.

Then a bunch of silly crap happens and in the end...

I died.

So there's that.

I used to write stories from the POV of a hairdresser.
Every story ended with "I Dyed"

I used to write stories where I put the threads on bolts. I ended every story with "I died." But we're missing the point. Nate is translated into german. Not only that but there is a reference to his book at the end. This is the same sort of exposure that made Hitler a household name.
