The Golden Compass opens this weekend. I hope to have time to see it. There are likely to be protests and such, which is an idiotic way to react to a movie. People should lighten up. The books are intelligent and fun. The movies will likely be the same.
In other, more personal news, I got a new guitar. I’m trying to practice for at least an hour every night. Last night it was nothing but scales. I have got to toughen up my finger tips.
