Nathan Tyree: Blade Runner

This is all I want for christmas: Blade Runner.

I am quite excited about this. Blade Runner is one of my favorite films. ItÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s about time Ridley Scott did a definitive directorÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s cut. Plus, I have wanted to see the work print version for years.

In other news: The Real Eight Review is taking a poem of mine called Ã¢â‚¬Å“Tragic EngineÃ¢â‚¬Â.

My collection is on VHS (I bought the entire series ages ago) and is nearly worn out. I was thinking about upgrading to the DVD~ this makes it fully worth while to do so.

Hmm, a definitive version of the complete series. That is tempting.

Also, Blade Runner is so-so. Visually stunning, yes, but it takes effort to sit down and watch it. I'm not even sure which cut I own.

I could have sworn I had posted about this. I've been drooling for that case since it was announced.

This film did not ruin Philip K. Dick novels. This movie had so little to do with the novel that they can exist side by side without bumping each other.
