Nathan Tyree: Iowa
Obama won Iowa. He just win, he got a relative landslide. He managed great numbers in a conservative state that is all white (95% white, anyway). I suppose this should dispense with questions of electability.
Edwards, who was supposed to come in third, should get a little bounce from his second place finish. I wouldn’t count Hillary out, though. Remember that the last Clinton to run for president lost Iowa and New Hampshire, but got the nomination anyway.
Biden has dropped out. I suspect we will see another candidate drop out soon.
Over on the Republican side Huckabee won. Many are surprised; I am not. Iowa is a state in which the G.O.P is dominated by Evangelicals. The real shock is that McCain did as well as he did. Now he needs to position himself as a “comeback kidâ€Â.

Make no mistake, Obama is (and has been) my candidate of choice, but he faces a very tough road ahead. This is a sign of good things to come, though.
Clinton is still the Democrat to beat, and will be until she loses the nomination.
There isn't even a lesser evil on the Republican side I can get behind. That being said, I'll either not vote, or go so far as to vote for that party's nominee if it comes down to one of them vs. Clinton.
