Also, replacing the Roper's as landlord, was Mr. Furley, played by Don Knotts, who formally played a deputy sherriff. The character of Cindy was replaced by Terri, who was played by Priscilla Barnes who was set to play the lead role in a sitcom called, "She's the Sherriff," but was replaced by Suzanne Somers. She's the Sherriff ran until 1989. In 1989, a song called When I'm with you began climbing the charts depite the band having been broken up for several years. The band's name? Sherriff. Nope. Also in 1989, Lucille Ball died. Lucille ball starred in "I Love Lucy". Vivian Vance played Lucy's friend, Ethel Mertz. Vivan died 10 years earlier, in 1979. In January of 1979, a 2 hour T.V. movie aired called Salvage 1, starring Andy Griffith. Andy was the sheriff to Don Knotts's deputy. Salvage 1 also starred Joel Higgins, as Skip Carmichael. Joel was also the dad on Silver Spoons. Jason Bateman was a reoccuring character on Silver Spoons. He played Ricky Stratton's best friend. Jason Bateman was born in 1969, 10 years prior to Vivian Vance's death. Unix was developed in 1969. Linux (a variant of unix) was created by Linus Tovalds. Tovalds was also born in 1969. My brother and I were concieved in 1969. In 1989, a Duran Duran retrospective album is released. It is called Decade. A decade is 10 years! Coincidence?

I figured it out! You forgot a couple of important things though...

You see, She's the Sheriff also stared George Wyner. Mr. Wyner got his big break playing "Film Cutter" in Columbo: Double Exposure. As we all know, Columbo was played by everybody's favorite single-sighted actor Peter Falk.

Peter Falk also played himself in a little ditty from 1987 called Wings of Desire. Well, sort of himself. According to the film, Falk is an angel who has fallen from grace, and entices another angel who has fallen in love with a mortal to do the same. Sound familiar? You may have seen this story in the form of the remake City of Angels.

That movie starred Nicolas Cage. Nicolas Cage has been the star of such films as Con Air, Adaptation, and Gone in 60 Seconds. I liked him best in the Coen Brothers film Raising Arizona. Turns out Cage isn't really a Cage, he's Coppola.

Mr. Cage (or Coppola) is the nephew of Francis Ford Coppola. You know him. He's the genius behind Apocolypse Now. One of the most memorable scenes in that film is when the helicopters fly in playing classical music. None of this really matters though.

Getting back to Cage. He is slated to play Johnnie Blaze, the man who is the host for the supernatural superhero Ghost Rider. Ghost Rider rivals Spider-Man as my favorite comic character of all time (I'm a Marvel fan-boy). However nothing has been committed to film yet and they don't even have a director.

So why didn't you just come out and say, "I want to see Ghost Rider"?
