I don't know what's wrong with it.

There's this little thing in America that keeps us from becoming like those crazy fanatics we like to bomb. It's called the seperation of church and state. George W. Bush has blatantly walked all over it, and now look at us, we're occupying Iraq, and calling all people of Islamic faith "Terrorists". It's a bit more catchy than "Infidels" don't you think?

By the way, there was a great article in this month's Playboy about George Bush and his faith. I recommend giving it a read. Plus, when you are done with it, you can look at boobies!

Seperation of church and state is a simplification of the 1st amendment:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.

This may be naive, but isn't the president still a citizen?
That would guarantee him the right to pray, as much as it guarantees you the right not to.
All citizens have a right to practice their religion(or lack of).

I would say that more terrorists hide behind the Islamic faith than hide behind the Christian faith.

I didn't say that the president didn't have a right to his faith. Far from it. Let him pray and worship all he wants. It's when his Christianity starts infecting (I know what I said) American policy and law that there is a problem. A couple of big non-war-related examples are stem cell research and gay marriage. You've scoffed before when I've mentioned gay marriage, but I believe disallowing it is the equivalent of a modern day "Jim Crow" law. Now if there is a legitimate argument against either of these besides "God's Law" I'd love to hear it. If he gets more time at his current position, ol' W. may just have to shove all the laws of Leviticus down our throats.

Actually, use of the word "Islamist" could be considered racist. The term is "Muslim" (or, Moslem). Islamist is equivalent to calling some one a"Mohammedan."
