Don't be obtuse. American Indian pride merged with Xtian fervor. That's a bit like a Jewish Nazi. Think about it. Christianity was one of the driving forces behind the near genocide of the American Indians. That someone of Indian heritage would embrace the white european plague is fucking ironic.

I don't think Jesus approved of genocide. Although men did evil things in the name of Christianity, the person whose car you saw was not a victim of those men any more than "african americans" are still slaves.

A native american with a "Custer Was Right" bumper sticker would be ironic.
A native american finding solace in the teachings of a dark skinned man that existed over 1,000 years before white men even set foot in America isn't.
