Nathan Tyree: Book signing blues
So I had been talking to the manager of the local Hastings bookstore about a signing. Stanna (that's the manager in question) had suggested that I get back in touch with her after the first of the month. Then she vanished.
I would call at various times of day only to find that she was never in and no one knew when to expect her. Yesterday I called again and was told that she no longer worked there.
I dropped by the store in the evening and met Kevin, the temporary manager. After talking for five minutes he ordered thirty copies of Mr. Overby is Falling.
I am supposed to drop in on Thursday to sign some papers and finalize the date for the signing. Yay!
Mood: Happy
