2-HeadedGiraffe: Fresh Prince of Darkness
I saw I Am Legend tonight. As good as I'd heard it would be, it's probably the best Will Smith movie I've seen (Jersey Girl doesn't count because, though he's in it, he's not the star). It's dark, sad, and even somewhat scary, with a noticeable portion of humor added to break it up.

-SPOILER WARNING -

My biggest problem with it was that the ending seemed very hopeful; there's the potential for the world to be saved, and it shows up just in time. I love that Smith's character sacrifices himself. That could well have ended the film. At that point, the viewer knows there's hope, but it's still not too optimistic for the situation. Still, the ending is decent, and the rest comes highly recommended.

2-HeadedGiraffe: So Dark the Games of Wii
There are so far three major franchise first-party games on the Wii. In order of release, they are:

1) Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
2) Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
3) Super Mario Galaxy.

Has anyone else noticed the theme here? Twilight has its own sort of dark world, Twilight. Corruption features several dark characters along the lines of Dark Samus. Galaxy takes place in space and such, so there's a lot of inherent darkness even in such a bright thing as a Mario game.

The theme is darkness.

Game: Super Mario Galaxy
Stars: Eight
TV: M*A*S*H
